GeoExpress 7.0.2 Released

GeoExpress 7.0.2 was released this week. This minor update to GeoExpress addresses the following issues:

+ Better image quality when encoding multispectral JPEG 2000 containing an alpha channel

+ Support for CADRG/CIB files

+ Command line metadata editor now supports multiple tags and templates

+ Brower plug-in no longer displays duplicate coordinate system information

This update can be obtained via download or can be shipped on a DVD. Please contact your LizardTech representative for more information on obtaining the latest version of GeoExpress.

Express Server 6.1 now available.

This latest upgrade furthers interoperability with support for third party products including ESRI ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Image Server, and Google Earth. In addition, Express Server 6.1 now supports NITF imagery and streaming JPEG 2000 (JPIP).

GeoExpress SDK now supports 64-bit platforms for both MrSID® and JPEG 2000

Updated ArcGIS plug-ins for Express Server and Spatial Express are now available.

These plug-ins support all versions of ArcMap from 8.3 through the beta version of 9.3

Express Server 6 Patch 1 now available

This patch is required for an Express Server to accept published images from a GeoExpress 7.x client. Additionally, this patch contains other fixes for Express Server 6.

Summary of changes:

16114 - HTTP POST files are limited to approximately 60 MB on Windows using IIS

15847 - JP2 with included Alpha Channels fail to render

16270 - Grayscale MrSID images are not mosaicked correctly

16189 - Incorrect mime type for small requests on Linux/Solaris

16515 - WMS requests for a reprojected scene outside of the image extent fails
